Eight major international sports events, 5 different snow and ice disciplines for a total of 12 competitions. Cortina will be the winter resort hosting the most World Cup events in a single season, a tourism and accommodation system that is set to host more than 12,000 spectators and 2,500 accredited athletes, staff and guests. Thanks to the collaboration between the institutions, the 27 partner companies and all the players involved, Cortina Foundation aims to field an increasingly better organization of sports events capable of creating synergies with the offerings of the Ampezzo area. A season with flair but “without differences”-as the motto imprinted on the Alpine Ski World Cup bib reads “sNOw DIFFERENCE”-that aims to ensure Cortina and the Veneto region great international visibility and the opportunity to become a true hub of inclusivity at the highest level.
